Cambia’s values and ethics guide our work to make health care easier and lives better. Our employees are stewards of these values and once a year, employees can nominate a colleague or team that exemplifies one of our five values—Be Trustworthy, Be Inclusive, Be Courageous, Be Innovative and Be Results-Driven.
Meet the winners of this year's Cambia Value Awards, who inspire us walk the walk in living our values every day.
Be Trustworthy - Daniel Harrell, Strategic Finance Consultant
Over nearly a decade at Cambia, Daniel has become a highly valued team member thanks to his direct communication style and willingness to jump in to help wherever he’s needed. When Cambia was facing a particular challenge, Daniel took the initiative and found reliable data to help identify the scope of the problem and develop potential solutions.
Be Inclusive - Saavedra Gonzales, Internal Audit Tech Data Analyst
Saavedra has been with Cambia for 15 years and is known for her inclusive approach in her daily work and as the cofounder of Cambia’s Home of Latinxs and Allies Employee Resource Group (HOLA ERG). Saavedra also started a grassroots mentorship program in partnership with other ERG members. She and her cofounders saw that people wanted mentors but didn’t know how to connect with one, so they set up a working plan and pilot tapping into their extensive internal network to ensure diverse representation from across the company.
Be Courageous - Noelle Redmond, Pharm.D., RPh, Assistant Director, Clinical Pharmacy Services
Since pharmacist Noelle joined Cambia more than 12 years ago, she’s consistently demonstrated a commitment to doing the right thing for her team and our members. She’s not afraid to ask tough questions and fight for the right solution for those affected. She uses her keen clinical knowledge to challenge pharmacy practice norms while keeping the member experience at the center of all we do.
Be Innovative - Erin Bruce, Medicare Pharmacy Senior Manager
During nearly three years with Cambia, Erin served as the architect of the Pharmacy Engagement Program, an initiative that has deepened relationships between provider groups and our network management and clinical teams. Erin worked with a range of stakeholders to build a scalable program that is now a market differentiator and network management's go-to resource for clinical pharmacy needs.
Be Results-Driven - Oregon Clinical Consulting team: Allison Johnson and Leah Lorincz
Allison and Leah work with our Oregon sales team, digging into data and arming the teams with information in support of their customers. Their drive, responsiveness, attention to detail and expertise consistently exceed customer expectations.
Ethics Award - Shirley Reitz, Pharm.D., RPh, Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services
Over the eight years Shirley has been with Cambia, she’s consistently exemplified not only our values but also a dedication to honesty and integrity. With more than 40 years of clinical pharmacy experience, she’s often asked by our customers to share insights on the health care landscape, pharmacy trends and cost stewardship strategies.
