AHIP’s 2021 Consumer Experience & Digital Health Forum brought together innovators and visionaries who are changing how health care works. It offered industry perspectives on health IT advancements and how digital health technology is improving health equity, data exchange, interoperability, consumer experience and patient care.

“What distinguishes us is a passionate belief in serving the individual and empowering the individual to make the best decisions for themselves and for their families,” said Rotival. “So, advocating for simplifying and creating frictionless experiences across the continuum of care. Making it easier for people to access the best doctors in the most convenient way, at the most cost-effective level is a critical priority, which has led us to invest in the digital health economy.”
Rotival was joined by Lisa Bari, CEO of Citivas Networks for Health; Edward Juhn, chief quality officer of Inland Empire Health Plan; and Rory Stanton, founder and CEO of Alia Health, for the discussion that was moderated by Danielle Lloyd, SVP for private market innovations and quality initiatives at AHIP. The participants discussed the digital health boom and how it has, in the words of Rotival, produced the “holy grail” for consumers, providing solutions that are more cost-effective and higher quality. Digital health platforms and apps are making it easier for individuals to find the products, services and care they need, in a way that’s convenient and affordable for them.
