To change how people experience health care, we need innovation. Innovation requires experiments, and experiments require you to allow for failure.
In September, Cambia Grove’s Under the Boughs event (a regular series at Cambia Grove featuring perspectives from health care leaders) explored these ideas and more as part of a larger conversation on how to create meaningful change in people’s health care journeys. The event combined perspectives from public policy and the retail industry, featuring Congresswoman Suzan DelBene and Mike Koppel, Cambia board chair and former Nordstrom CFO.
“It’s complicated to make things easy, it’s easy to make things complicated,” said Mike Koppel. “Part of our job is to figure out how to make a relatively complicated endeavor like dealing with your own personal health care easier for the customer.”
