Matt Hawkins is chief executive officer and board member at Waystar, a software company providing cloud-based technology that simplifies health care payments.
Previously, Hawkins was president of Sunquest Information Systems, where he led several key growth acquisitions and guided the company’s transformation into a global leader in laboratory diagnostic informatics. Before that, he was with Vista Equity Partners, where he served as CEO and board member for multiple portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Hawkins joined the Cambia board in 2024.
